MOB NEWS

This page is certainly not meant to substitute for your attendance at the monthly MOB meetings or your participation in other lodge, motorcycle related or MOB social events. It is intended to provide a medium to communicate MOB news and activities to those that want to be informed. It is in no way intended to be a complete compilation of all the MOB news. That could only be accomplished if you were involved in everything. Keep an eye on the event calendar, too!

If you feel that something is news worthy, pass it on to me and I will attempt to get your news posted. I will, however, take the liberty of censoring and making a judgment as to whether it’s appropriate for our site.

The MOB Membership meeting held April 10, 2011:

If ever there was a short meeting, this was it. We took care of business and took off for a ride. The weather was hot, 85+, and humid.

This was also the first meeting for the riding season to begin at noon. The season is short so we are taking advantage.

We will wrap up the MOB breakfasts this Sunday, April 17. Serving from 9 - 11am. We'll likely resume in the fall.

TAKE NOTE: The May membership meeting will be held on May 15 due to Mother's Day on May 8.

Board elections for the MOB were held resulting in Pat Morgan as president, Tom Grypma as VP, Georjean Morgan as secretary, Jennifer Grypma as treasurer, Skip Hutting as road captain and Dick PreFontaine as SAA. The new board will be seated for the May meeting.

The current meeting incentive drawing will conclude with the winning draw at the May meeting. A new incentive for next year will begin at the May meeting. We will go back to the progressive drawing for monthly cash as we did last year.

REMINDER: Volunteers are welcome and needed for all upcoming MOB events.

Tickets are now available for sale for the cash raffle sponsored by the Moose Riders from Sparta, Dorr, Wyoming and Fremont. The big drawings for five $1,000 prizes will be held on Sept. 10 during a party at Sparta.
