Calendar of Family Center Events

 Adopt-A-Road- Our lodge sponsors a two mile stretch of road on 13 mile road.  Clean ups are three times a year for anyone that would like to help.

Bingo at Westgate Bowling. The lodge sponsors to nights of Bingo (Sat and Sun) at the Westgate bowling alley in the back bingo room.  Bingo starts at 6pm, doors open before.  Admission cards are .25 and hard cards are .10!

Black & Blue Ball  is a charity dance for the Equest center put on by the Moose On Bikes.  All proceeds go to help the programs of the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding.

Breakfast-each Sunday Sept-April we have a breakfast 9-11am.  Each Sunday is a different crew with a different touch for $5.00 all you can eat. 

Build A Burger-Tuesday night is our family night where you can bring out the family and get a discount on burgers from the kitchen.  Build your burger the way you like.

Daytona Race Party is put on by Brian Verburg and committee to celebrate the first race of the year.  Brian usually has some special meal that everyone can help participate in.  All proceeds go to the NASCAR fund.  Previous projects of the NASCAR fund are the tall tables in the social quarters, big screen tv's.  Dress like your favorite driver to win the best dressed fan competition.

District Meeting - Monthly the area lodges get together for a district meeting, the meeting location rotates from Dorr, Fremont, Greenville, Holland, Ludington, Manistee, and Wyoming.  Each member that attends helps to the score of the lodge for the monthly award.

Fish and Chicken Dinner- Our Friday night dinner Sept-April serving from 6-8pm for $7.00 all you can eat.

Hook A Kid on Golf- This is a clinic for children 8-13 years old that have not played golf before.  There is a sponsor fee of $125 for each student.  We are forming a committee for the next years events.

Iron Diva-A chance for the ladies to show their sporty side in a two day competition including pool, shuffleboard, darts, and ice fishing.

Iron Teen- This is a one day sports event for 13-19 year olds of members.  Includes pool, shuffleboard, darts, and beanbag toss.

Karaoke - We have free karaoke on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month provided by Priceless Entertainment.  Come out and try on your singing voice.  8:30pm-12:30am.

Kitchen Open-We have a wonderful kitchen staff to provide meals in the social quarters.  Oder from full menu, some nights are special. (Monday Mexican, Tuesday Build A Burger, Thursday Italian night)

Line Dancing- Pat Brown has volunteered her services on Monday nights at the lodge for a $3.00 donation to Mooseheart. There is a new dancer class followed by a more advanced class.

LOOM Enrollment- This is the night that new members are asked to attend to find out about the order and about the Sparta Moose Lodge.  Lasts approx 1 hour, videos and speaking.  Ladies and families are welcome and encouraged to attend with the gentleman.

M.O.B. Meeting- Moose On Bikes meetings are the  2nd Sunday of the Month and are open to members and prospective members.  Must be a member of the Lodge or WOTM at any Moose Lodge.  Meetings start at 1pm and there is a membership incentive to attend.  If you are present when your name is drawn, you win the incentive.

Pack Meetings- We sponsor the Local Cub Scouts Pack and they hold their monthly meeting in the lodge basement on the 4th Monday of the month. 

Valentines Dinner and Dance- Prime Rib  Dinner and Dance for $12.50 per person.  Pre-purchase tickets please.

Youth Club- This is a chance for the children and grandchildren of members to get together for a good cause.  Membership is $5.00 a year and meetings are the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 11am.
