2009 Car show participants and supporters E-news list.

 

Wow, I would like to take this chance to thank you for coming to our 6th
Annual Car Show at the Sparta Moose Lodge. 

 

Final totals are still being figured, but rough numbers look like we had 128
cars register, and the show collected a little over $1300.  

We still need to figure expenses, but with only three weeks notice and
planning, I couldn't be happier.  

 

I have received a couple of e-mails with ideas to improve next year, and I
wish to thank those that submitted them.  

 

1.	Classes need to be reconfigured!  (We are looking at the number of
attendees and seeing how we can spread that out)
2.	Goodie Bags!  (Again, with 3 weeks prep, we were doing all we could
to get sponsors to cover some of the expenses. But are in the plans for next
year.  Any recommendations of suppliers are welcome)
3.	Door prizes.  (Please see #2) Again, any recommendations are
welcome.
4.	Please contact with any other ideas, suggestions, or

We have decided on a date for the 2010 show, and it will be June 26th, 2010.
As I have mentioned, we are looking over those that attended this year, and
are trying to revise the classes to keep it a level playing field.  I have
heard about a class for "Special Interest" from the Grand Rapids Hearse
club, so that could be an interesting category for next year.

 

We have formed an e-mail list for the show, if you would please pass this to
your friends and car club members they may sign up for reminders and updates
also.  Also working on a web page for the show with pictures from this year.
I will send out a message when that is up and running.
