Here are some of the events coming up this week and next.  Hope you can stop
by and say hi.

 

Friday October 9   Firefighter fish dinner  6-8pm $7.00 all you can eat, or
until gone.

                             Friday Karaoke and Music by Christina 8-12:30

 

Saturday Oct 10    Youth Club pool league starts.  Ages 8-18, draw for
partner.

 

Saturday Oct 10     Case or Cash for Mooseheart.  We are collecting cases of
food for the Mooseheart children at the Sparta Moose lodge.

Moose International has decided that to cut the budget, they had to close
the central kitchen, so the houses must get their own groceries, and the
State of Michigan Moose wanted to help.

Semi trailer is parked in the front of the lodge and is already half full,
hope you can help.  IF you don't have time to shop, you can donate money and
the girls will do the shopping for you.

 

Lasagna Dinner for Mooseheart Sat 5pm-until gone, dinner $7.00 per person.  

 

If you bring a case of food, you will get a ticket for a free dinner.  Two
cases, two tickets.  Today and Sat is can food days at Meijer, Family Fare,
and Leppinks.  Save $$$.

 

SPECIAL TREAT- Saturday 8:30pm-12:30am we will have Nashville Artist Billy
Dalton playing at the lodge for the members.  Come out and see him.

 

Wheelbarrow of Cheer drawing.  The lodge officers have donated a wheelbarrow
of cheer and you can get a ticket $1 each or $5 for 6.  Drawing Sat at 10pm
break with Billy Dalton. 

 

Sunday Oct 11 will be the monthly M.O.B. (Moose on Bikes) meeting starting
at 1:00pm

 

"The lodge wants to say thank you to the MOB for all they do.  Most recently
they negotiated a new price for an  Automatic Electronic Defibrillator for
the lodge and then donated $500 towards it.

So we now have an AED device in the social quarters for emergencies."

 

 

Next week 

Friday the 16th   Bill Pitsch and crew Fish & Chicken Dinner 6-8pm  $7.00
per person.

Friday the 16th   Priceless Entertainment IS BACK!  Karaoke and Music
Playing 8pm till 12:30am.  Have a great time and see friends.

Saturday 17th   Legion Honor Banquet for Legionaire of the Year Mark
Stephens.  Contact Don Swanson for a seat.

Sunday 18th     Shuffleboard Leagues Starts

 

Saturday 24th   MOB benefit dance for Burn Camp Children.

Friday the 30th   Relay for life BBQ Rib Dinner $7.00

 

Parents don't forget the Children's Halloween Party October 24th from 1-3pm.
Annual Doughnut eating contest.  Hotdog, Chips, punch.  And of course annual
costume judging.  

Plans are in the works for the annual Christmas party.

 

Thanks again for all you for our children at Mooseheart and our Seniors at
Moosehaven.
