[Newsletter] Komen Race for the Cure (Set up Volunteers needed.)

Members and guests, we have received a request for volunteers to help set up
in Grandville for the race next week Saturday.  Anyone willing to get up
early and help set up some tables and chairs, please read the message below.
This will also count towards our lodge's community service, so please let me
know if you are going.  We may also be able to set up a car pool if enough
are interested.

Thank you for your time and consideration this morning.  As discussed, I am
looking for a few early morning volunteers for set-up activities on
Saturday, September 26th.  Work involved in just setting up some tables and
chairs as well as movng some equipment around as needed.  Nothing heavy
involved..

 

Last year this work had to be done by many of the "Survivors" that this Race
and Day are supposed to be honoring.  Anything that you and your group can
do to help would be greatly appreciated.  I have attahced a couple of links
that provide more info about the Race.

 

Volunteers are needed in the 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. area for set up and will
be done within a couple of hours.  You or any interested parties may contact
me at 616-514-1718.
