[Newsletter] Youth Golf League Meeting and Hook a Kid level 2

Dear Members and Guests,  

 

The Youth Golf League will have a starting meeting on Tuesday June 29th, and
plan to have the first outing on Friday July 9th.  Anyone that is interested
please feel free to attend the meeting at 7pm on the 29th.    We will be
deciding on how long the league will go at that meeting and the schedule.

 

The Hook A Kid Green Level (Level 2) will be July 26-30.  There is a sign up
sheet in the entrance way for the kids to sign up on.  The kids must have
their own clubs and have a basic knowledge of how to use them.  At the Green
Level clinic they will learn practical experience on the golf course using a
fun format that stresses the importance of learning the rules and etiquette
of the game.  The program starts with a skill evaluation of each of the
youngsters and eventually takes them through practical instruction starting
on the TEE and ending on the GREEN.  Registration cost of $5.00 per student
and they will get a golf bag pouch with supplies and a week practice on the
golf course.

 

Remember that Tuesday is Build A Burger night.  $1.00 for burger and you can
top it your way.  $1.00 for fries, $1.50 for onion rings and deep fried
mushrooms.
